Position Assignment on "Ruby Lips"
Okay, so I have now been made a producer for our short film "Ruby Lips" by Jonathan DeBoer. Filming this script is to be our group project for the semester in Video Production Class. Jessica Armstrong is the other producer. We are working hard on the pre-production phase of this project. We have to go over the script and edit it so that it is professional. We've decided to contact Jonathan and ask him to work with us on the project. He was in Video Production I with all of us but he graduated and is no longer enrolled at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Therefore he won't have to worry about getting a grade as the rest of us will need to. But hopefully it will work out.

I'm Back!
Ok, so now that a new semester is here I have continued my class from Video Production I into Video Production II. We've been told to post something in our blog and so here I am sitting and pondering what to write. I haven't really reviewed any movies (yet) so I guess this will be the journal post to my blog. I have seen many movies since I was last on my blogger, but most of them were repeats that I watched over the holidays with my family. I did go see one new movie in theaters and that was Breaking Dawn: Part 2 of the Twilight Saga. I'm going to wait for it to come to DVD before I review it because I like to be thorough in my reviews and therefore always watch the movie multiple times before and while i'm actually writing the review.
We were also told in our first class that we must pick a new movie (It has to have been released in 2012, preferably nominated for an Academy Award, but it doesn't have to be nominated) and write a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down review on it. And, although we haven't yet had the class where we stake our claim on what movie we want to do the review on, I'm fairly certain that my choice will not be something anyone else has in mind. I want to do my review on Brave by Disney and Pixar. It has been nominated for Best Animated Feature Film of 2012. So it fits the criteria we have thus far been given. It also fits the criteria of me being willing to watch it multiple times and enjoy it multiple times. I like the storyline and plot. It is my kind of movie. Since I'm hoping my Professor will let me write my assignment on it, I wont go into anymore detail than I already have except to say that I need to buy the soundtrack because it has outstanding music.
Ok, time for bed now. See you all later and be ready to read my "Thumbs Up or Thumbs Drown Review!" whenever I write it. Hopefully, I will be able to do it on Brave. If, for some reason, I can't then I'll think of something else and will let everyone know about it. I won't be very happy but I'll let you know.
